VisualSense – Making
This section explains how to prepare a VisualSense session before entering the platform editor. A well-prepared session ensures clarity, efficiency, and meaningful engagement with your target audience
whether stakeholders, users, citizens, or learners.
Build your narrative using The VisualSense Thinking Canvas
The starting point is to define a clear and structured narrative. Using your own working canvas, you should :
- Structure the story you want to convey
- Identify the key questions to address
- Select relevant visual content (photographs, drawings, 3D images, videos, etc.)
- This step is essential to ensure that participants can easily understand the context and compare the proposed options.
Before creating the session in the platform, gather all necessary elements in a dedicated folder.
To ensure meaningful comparisons (“apples-to-apples”), all stimuli should share at least one common reference. Avoid mixing visuals with completely different contexts or styles—unless this is the explicit objective of the session.
