Visual thinking Approach

VisualSense Thinking approach, the platform invites participants to compare carefully crafted visual scenarios – based on photographs, videos, calibrated 3D scenes or AI-generated imagery – each supported by clear narratives and objective data (costs, energy usage, environmental impact, functionality). These comparisons are guided through well-defined protocols that stimulate understanding, positioning, and constructive feedback.

Visual thinking Canvas

1 – Start with a shared vision

2Turn insight into confident decision

3 – Prepare meanful content

4 – engage stakeholders effectively

The VisualSense Thinking methodology begins with a structured assessment of the challenge to be addressed, involving stakeholders, users, and/or citizens from the outset. This collective approach ensures that the key issues, expectations, and constraints are clearly understood before any solutions are explored.

It then defines the core elements of each VisualSense session: the narrative framing the project, the visual content (calibrated 3D scenes or AI-generated imagery), the protocol for presenting scenarios to participants, the questions to be asked, and the expected types of responses. Particular attention is given to how feedback is collected, analyzed, and translated into actionable insights.

By carefully orchestrating these elements, VisualSense creates meaningful interactions where participants can compare options, express informed opinions, and contribute constructively to the decision-making process.
The result: faster alignment between stakeholders, reduced project risks, and decisions grounded in both human perception and measurable data.
